Angelica Maria Vale Hartman - professionally referred to Angelica Vale - is a Mexican American musician, actress, impersonator, comedian and radio host. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman was also identified as Angelica Maria La Novia Mexico and is the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. In 1973, she's acknowledged as the person who launched her own La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre that dominated the charts and made Angelica Maria the first Latin artist to have sold 2 million copies of her music in the United States. She got to know Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale in 1974. They married in April of 1975. This was the first wedding to be broadcast across Mexico.
